A confident skill of memorising and rendering speech, a clear note-taking method, compression, and practice on real recordings of speeches in order of increasing difficulty.
About the course
Aim of the course
To teach participants to interpret passages of speech of varying length accurately in meaning and correctly in form. To build a note-taking skill and make it automatic. The programme is built on this.
Preparing the interpreter
To start with recordings of less demanding speeches and work through them in short phrases. To broaden language knowledge so that participants have the fullest range of means for consecutive interpreting. To identify weaknesses and aim for a perfect rendering.
Method
Up to four instructors may work with one group. They show possible solutions to interpreting tasks with the individual features of each participant in mind. Still, most of the course is hands-on practice of consecutive interpreting.
More than fifteen hundred people have completed our consecutive interpreting courses in Moscow and Kazakhstan. Most graduates work successfully as consecutive interpreters and keep coming back for further training.

Professional development certificate
The certificate details are entered into the FRDO (Federal Register of Information on Education and/or Qualification Documents). Since January 1, 2019, licensed training centers have been required to submit data to the FRDO on students who have completed supplementary professional education.
Educational activity license
Our organization holds an official license for educational activities issued by the Department of Education.
