Consecutive interpreting
Professional consecutive interpreting for business meetings, negotiations, and presentations. The interpreter renders the speech after each phrase or passage is complete, ensuring accurate delivery and a natural conversational rhythm.
How does consecutive interpreting work?
In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter listens closely to the speaker, takes brief notes, and renders what was said in the target language once the phrase or passage is complete. This method keeps the conversation interactive and ensures highly accurate interpretation.

Consecutive interpreting questions
With consecutive interpreting, the event runs roughly 1.8-2 times longer. For example, a one-hour presentation will take about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. The exact time depends on the speaker's pace and the complexity of the material.
No special equipment is required. All the interpreter needs is a table, a chair, and a notepad. For larger audiences, we can provide a portable microphone for the interpreter.
Optimally, up to 30 people. With more participants we recommend using a microphone for the interpreter. For an audience of over 50 people we recommend simultaneous interpreting with the appropriate equipment.
We recommend booking an interpreter at least 3-5 days in advance. This time is needed for preparation.
One interpreter can work effectively for up to 6-8 hours with mandatory breaks. For longer events, we recommend engaging two interpreters to rotate, or considering simultaneous interpreting.
